Lionman and the Witchqueen (1979)

Original title: Aslan Adam

Fantasy. Turkey. Starring Frank Morgan. Directed by Mehmet Aslan.

Alexandros Video (Greece). English dubbed. Fullscreen.

The follow-up to Natuk Baytan's immensely entertaining insane biblical adventure Lionman is not at all as fun and is really a sword and sorcery film in disguise. I'm alost sure the production year imdb lists is wrong, this must be from the early 1980s. 2/5

Tarkan Viking Kani (1971)

Peplum/Vikings. Turkey. Starring Kartal Tibet & Eva Bender. Directed by Mehmet Aslan.

Video Imwa Kaset (Germany). Turkish language. Fullscreen.

Turkish hero Tarkan encounter the vikings (turks in silly red wigs) in this totally madcap and brilliant peplum! When you don't think things can possible get any better they throw in the giant octopus monster! 5/5
